Our speakers come from different walks of life and expertise. Tonio is married to Claudine and has two children.  A former Minister for Finance and an Accountant by profession.  Tonio is also a member of the Cenacolo Community, a community that outreaches to teens, youth and adults.

Chairman of the ARQ Group, Manfred is a lawyer specialised in regulatory compliance.  For the past 18-years has organised the Alpha Course, a course on the Christian faith for non-churchgoers and lapsed Christians. He is married to Sandra and has three young children.

Married to Theresienne and father of three young children, Costantino manages a local tour organising agency. Costantino is a member of the Cenacolo Community, a community that outreaches to teens, youth and adults.

Sandro is married to Cristina and they have three boys. Sandro has been a member of the Christian Life Communities for 40 years. He is an educator by profession, having had a range of teaching and leadership roles in the State and non-State Institutions.

Mark is married to Helen and a father of three children. A pharmacist by profession. Mark is also involved in a the movement Couples for Christ.

Joe Aquilina

A former Central Banker, today teaches English at a Language School. Married to Doris and has three children. Was a member of MUSEUM till his early twenties, he pioneered the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the early 70s.  Former President of the local Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. Joe sits on the Pastoral Diocesan Council and President of Forum for the Laity. Joe is a music and song composer and has been a presenter and co-producer of a number of socio-religious programs on the National Stations.

Married to Joe and a mother of three, Doris started as a nursing professional and today is a Home Manager in an Elderly Home. Involved with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and taught natural family planning with the Cana Movement. She is also the Church representative on the National Council for the Elderly.

Nicholas Briffa a

Nicholas is a Clinical Psychologist specialised in sexology. He is a Researcher and Council Member with the European Federation of Sexology.  He is also a lecturer at the University of Malta.  Nicholas manages his own private practice and offers professional services within Sedqa, The National Alliance for Rare Diseases, id-Dar tal-Providenza and Marital & Relationship Services of the Cana Movement. Nicholas is married.

Emanuel a businessman is married to Mary and has two children.  A Prayer Group Leader and member of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. He is also active in Parish Ministry, by delivering teachings in parish groups, supporting married couples and couples preparing for marriage.

Mary is married to Emanual married and a mother of two.  A retired Secondary school teacher she received her training at Mater Admirabilis Training College.  After a turbulent period as a teenager, Mary decided to take up Religious Studies as a main stream subject. Active in Parish Ministry and works with children and youngsters.

Gabriel is doctor who is pursuing further specialist training in psychiatry. Married to Anthea Maria has recently been blessed with a daughter. Worked as a journalist in a leading news station and served on the SDM Executive at the University of Malta and later as President of the Malta Medical Students Association. He is currently also reading for a Masters Degree in Bioethics at the University of Malta.

Christine holds a Master  degree in Family Ministry. She is the Secretary-General of the Cana Movement, a lecturer in Family Ministry at the Institute of Pastoral Formation, a Board Member of Genesis 2 an Institute for Marriage and the Family and a Board Member of the International Commission for Couple and Family Relations.  Christine is a mother of three and a grandmother of two.

Arthur a corporate and commercial lawyer by profession, also lectures Commercial Law at the University of Malta. Arthur is married to Angela and have three children.  Also, the current President of the CANA Movement, an institution which works for the strengthening of marriage and families.

Ray is married to Kate and has two boys. An Orthopaedic surgeon by profession. Ray has a special interest in history.

David is a lawyer by profession, practicing civil and commercial law. David is married to Victoria and has three children.

Victoria is married and a mother of three.  Works as a part time guide at a historical house. She is a Member of the Service Team of a Catholic Charismatic Renewal group for women and also carries out social work.

Married to Mary Rose, Dominic has three children and two grand-children. A Business Management graduate who worked for 40 years in Banking and Human Resources. Today he is a Project Manager for a Home for boys in care.  A member of a Catholic Charismatic community for the past 30 years.

Married to Dominic, a mother of three children and grandmother of two. Holds a B.A. in Theology and worked as an educator. She was also a Marriage Counsellor within the Cana Movement for a number of years. A member of a Catholic Charismatic community for the past 30 years.'

David a Consultant Psychiatrist with Special Interest in Geriatric Psychiatry, visiting Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Malta, and Coordinator of Postgraduate Training in Psychiatry in Malta.  He pursued postgraduate studies in Neuroscience (University of London), General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry (University of Pittsburgh USA) and Psychopharmacology (University of Toronto). David is married with 2 children and is President of the Christian Life Community.

Manuel Mangani is a social worker who has worked in the psychiatric and addiction field for many years. Since his retirement he has been involved in voluntary social work and pro-life activism and occasionally has worked in journalism and other forms of writing.

Pierre is a young medical doctor, specialising in Family Medicine and Stem Cell applications. He has a passion for family, music and comedy.

Phyllis Sullivan a

Phyllis married to Mark and a mother of three. Worked in the hospitality sector before resigning to raise her children. A volunteer with the Hospice and a Committee Member and home-visitor of Home Start Malta, (an organisation that helps families with young children). She is also a Member of the Service Team of a Catholic Charismatic Renewal prayer group for women.

Simone is an architect and civil engineer in private practice. She is a member of the Church Commission for Justice and Peace, and a member of the Christian Life Community.
